Psychological Health is Good to Feel

First post in a long time, I know, I know. Not sayin I'm gonna be posting regularly (dad), but I'm ready to start thinking in blog posts again.

This post is named such because last semester, I wasn't in the best psychological health. Not that I had a disease or real disorder, I was just not happy. No one to blame for that but myself, really, because it's my brain and I'm the one that thinks the stuff in it. And for some reason, last semester I was really negative. BUT, I'm happy to report, my brain now is happy and rejuvenated and completely satisfied with life. I think I've come out of this experience knowing myself a little better and am decided that I will choose how to act instead of choosing to be acted upon.

Life is in my hands, and I say it will be wonderful. Hallelujah for a new semester, a new start, and a new attitude!

Lesson 1

My Responses After Teaching My First Lesson to my Intro to Education Class:

- Did I really claim that was a lesson?
- Why didn't I say anything I wanted to say?
- How did words actually come out of my mouth to form complete sentences?
- How did they really understand anything I said?
- I do NOT want to watch this on video.

In better news, my boss just talked to me about becoming a supervisor on my shift! We'll see how things develop.

Me & the Wonderful, Fabulous, So Good, Very Awesome Day

I was realizing today that I usually only write in my journal when I'm angry or annoyed. So I thought I should document the stellar day I had yesterday:

- My teacher said I was "very clever"
- We discussed Katie's wedding in geography
- I got information from grandma for my geography project
- I was told I looked cute by a super fashionable friend
- I got to partake of a large free bag of peanut M&Ms
- I received a free soft taco from Taco Bell
- I got to eat some of Megan's pizza
- I received a sweet package in the mail from Mandy
- My catalog I really wanted finally came
- FHE was fun and I felt comfortable with everyone
- Dan knew what Scripture Scouts was
- Megan and I had a nice walk & talk
- Megan bought me a Slurpee
- We watched Iron Man 2

just look at all the free food I got to eat! It was a deliciously happy day. =)
